Ragan has lived in Rankin County for 12 years and grew up in Meridian. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2007. He is a member of the Mississippi Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Ragan and his wife, Whitney, have two sons, Peyton (4) and Brady (1). They are active members of Meadow Grove Baptist Church.
